KOBRA's
work is subdivided into coordination and advisory activities.
The coordination work is aimed at supporting the
practical application of the existing regulations on trafficking
in human beings and at bringing about improvements in the
situation of those concerned.
In the field of coordination, a female lawyer works on a 70
percent basis.
The advisory work is aimed at stabilizing
the women affected during their stay in Germany in the best
way possible and thus to enable them to regain control of
their lives. To provide advice in the individual native languages,
the social education workers and psychologists speak Polish,
Russian, Spanish and English. They share two posts.
The target groups are
- women who are victims of trafficking in women,
- authorities and institutions dealing with trafficking
in women,
- the general public.
